Horned Lizard

This is a Horned Lizard!  They are quite interesting little animals and Micah has been wanting one for a pet for a long time.  He finally got his wish this last week when JD came home with not one, but two of them!  Horned Lizards are harmless and eat mostly harvester ants, which Micah has been collecting from an anthill out in the street in front of our house.

After seeing (and smelling!) the size of the larger lizard's 

deposits, not to mention the fact that he escaped twice

inside the house (yes, he could climb out of that box!), 

we decided the bigger one would

regain his freedom out in the yard.
