More paintings...

I decided to go ahead a post some pictures of some other paintings I had fun doing...

I took this picture on my comforter so I could see how well they match...I have decided where to put them yet...

Black circles of different sizes on white cardstock...circles made by dipping different sized lids in paint.

Black and red circles on white cardstock...same lids.

White circles on red background...I love the texture of the red paint in the background (hard to see in the picture).

I had some red and white paint left over so I did some swishes on a piece of cardboard. It's not really anything, just fun to experiment. :)

love these! will you frame them in black? that would be dramatic!

Black would look very nice...make them "pop" (like they are always saying on HGTV!). :) I hadn't really decided what to do with them...I just like to paint! haha Maybe Miguel can help me with the framing part?

I like these - better than the other ones, but it may be because I just like circles better than blocks. I should do these with my kids. Keep painting! Yeah, the ones on the wall are too small... maybe hang them elsewhere in the room in frames in a row vertically? Who knows. My walls are still bare, and I have to figure out WHERE to hang my pictures.

That's what Miguel said, hang them over each other vertically and then put another grouping next to it or something...I wasn't really thinking of size and placement when I did them...yes, I really like the circles, too! I even thought about doing circles on top of the paintings with blocks, but didn't want to ruin them if it didn't look good...

In my art class in college (for Elem. Ed) I had the most fun working with different mediums and methods, like stamping, etc. instead of just painting a scene or something...so maybe that's where my artistic ability lies? :) LOL

I think I like the red background with white circles best. They are all really neat! You're getting pretty good at this art thing. :o)

That is my favorite, too. Every time I scroll through them, I stop at that one. It looks so carefree and dreamy - like a bubble bath or something relaxing.

Hmmm...maybe I'll do a series of the white circles on red then (that was kind of my favorite, too)...and it would look really good in my room!
